During this class you will make a corded petticoat appropriate for pre-hoop Crinoline era. Various construction methods and materials will be discussed, as well as wearing and caring for the multiple layers of the Victorian 'private' clothing.Instructor: Barbara Muran, Owner, Of Corset

Student Supplies Required:

1. Sewing machine with bobbin, regular foot and zipper foot, in good working order. Don't forget your power cord and foot pedal.

2. Tracing wheel and colored carbon tracing paper

3. Yardstick or straight edge, on the heavier side if possible

4. Large spool white thread, pre-wind a couple of extra bobbins

5. Scissors and pins

6. Extra machine feet if available: cording, welting, and buttonhole
