What to bring to class...

Sewing Machine with regular and zipper presser feet.
Size 14 Jeans/Denim needles -- bring extras
White thread -- wind two machine bobbins
Light color contrast thread (off white, pale pink/blue...)
Scissors, both paper and fabric
Measure tools - measure tape, seam guides, ruler
Pins, pin cushion
Fabric markers, disappearing pens or tailor's chalk
Hand sewing needles, thimble
Seam ripper
Paper, tape, pencils

Notes:

Machine: Please check and clean your machine ahead of time and be sure to pack the foot pedal and power cord.
Scissors: Good sharp scissors to cut heavy fabric, if you prefer a rotary cutter and mat, bring it along.
Pins: Sharp dressmaker pins, coutil is very difficult to pin. My favorites are glass head silk pins. Dritz, IBC, Collins
Extra Machine Foot: Blind hem foot (with the center guide) if you have one.
